Get Involved

The Cuba Mission thrives thanks to the dedicated commitment of priests and laypeople, and especially thanks to FIDESCO volunteers who, for one or two years, generously offer their skills and energy to fully serve the mission and its projects in support of children, young people, and the most vulnerable.

Become a Volunteer

Since 2013, we have had the joy of welcoming volunteers sent by Fidesco.

Volunteering is a true support for the Mission — and a blessing for everyone!

Going with Fidesco means:

  • Serving others: putting your skills at the service of an educational, social, or development project.

  • Living a human and spiritual adventure: volunteering is a school of life and faith.

  • Being sent safely: the International Solidarity Volunteer Program (VSI), overseen by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, has protected and supported volunteers since 2006.

Organize a Donation Drive

Faced with the severe shortage of medicines in Cuba, where pharmacies are often empty and hospitals lack essential treatments, we organize material donation drives to meet the most urgent needs.

Medicines remain the top priority, but the needs do not stop there: school supplies help children continue their education despite the difficulties, equipment for the elderly (bedding, hygiene products, mobility aids) improves their comfort and dignity, and supplies for young children (toys, educational games, childcare materials) support their development.

Our parish pharmacy relies entirely on these donations, and each contribution makes a real difference in the lives of families and patients.
